Leif Garvin and his Art

​

Leif began painting when he was as small as 4 years old, when Leif was 13 years old, he took a decision that what he wanted to do for a living was getting involved with art and music. And as early as 1988 he began living as a portrait painter and illustrator. Leif was open to paint portraits to all who came to him. Leif took lessons from renowned Swedish illustrator Michael Boston, and they painted together illustrations and paintings with mixed media Gouashe, Acrylic and Oil.

Leif got a special permission of the National Museum to paint the paintings inside the museum, one of them was a lady in the veil and he was the first in 17 years who had to sit directly inside the museum and paint.
