Leif Garvin Designing Cars

In 1989, Leif where at the cinema Rigoletto with Calrence Simms and saw the first Batman movie ressigerad by Tim Burton, about an hour into the movie you get to see a car that would become part of Leif who received such attention that it changed his life.

Ten years after Leif stepped out of the cinema Leif Come into contact with the finnish  guy Wille Tikkanen, they began to renovate mansions together and talked about their common interest in cars and dreams. The agreement was: "If we build a Batmobile so we will build el tempo gigante from FlÃ¥kypa Grand Prix 1975" and that was how the whole project started.

From an AMT model Leif and Wille handsculpted the Batmobile from Tim Burton's film in real life scale, it took 20,000 hours of time together. Leif and Willie was the first in the world to create a replica of the Batmobile from the 1989 so soon after the movie.



Leif's Batmobile has been a huge success, enthusiasts claim that Leif has improved the design, made ​​it even better and started the trend. For the car created Leif also a Batman costume that he has sometimes been with him at events and when his car is exhibited at fairs.

Movie Cars 2003-09


Movie Cars was a company founded with Willie Tikkanen, Hampus Sederholm, Ulf löwenhav and Peter Berencreucz after the successful Batmobile replica was built. The company focused on building replicas of movie cars and the first step was to build KITT from Knight Rider.

Thalon Design 2005-10

Thalon Design came in 2005 with their first car, a Mustang with a eleanor kit that fit the new models. Together with Christer Karlsson began Leif pick up eleanor kit for different cars, and take on the SEMA Show 2005.

Batmobile Sweden

​

Along with Bobbo Krull's "Krull production" started a network television production that was to build a new Batmobile replica from "Batman -1989" and drive the car through the United States. The new Batmobile was presented at Elmia in Jönköping carshow 2011.
